🏆 R.R. Plett Recognized as a BCTA Clean Carrier
We are proud to announce that R.R. Plett Trucking will be recognized as a Clean Carrier Certified organization at the inaugural BC Trucking Association Annual Awards Luncheon on November 5, 2026, at the Coast Langley City Hotel & Convention Centre.
BCTA's Clean Carrier Program recognizes motor carriers that demonstrate a strong commitment to environmental responsibility and more sustainable trucking practices.
For R.R. Plett Trucking, this recognition represents much more than an award. It reflects the dedication of our entire team and the investments we continue to make in cleaner equipment, fleet efficiency, technology, and sustainable transportation.

We are excited and honoured to share that R.R. Plett Trucking has been selected as a finalist for the 2026 Canadian Clean Fleet Awards.
This national recognition celebrates fleets helping move commercial transportation toward a cleaner future. For our team, being named a finalist reflects the work behind our fleet electrification journey and our commitment to putting cleaner transportation solutions into real-world operations.
We are proud to recognize Pacific Coast Heavy Truck Group as a supporting partner and a key enabler of our fleet electrification project.
Fleet electrification takes more than purchasing trucks. It requires collaboration, charging infrastructure, operational planning, driver engagement, technology and strong partnerships. We are grateful to our employees, customers, suppliers and partners who continue to support this journey.

🤝 Welcoming the Clean Mobility Cluster of BC to R.R. Plett
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming the EMC – Clean Mobility Cluster of BC to our facility for a site tour and quarterly cluster meeting.
It was a fantastic opportunity to open our doors, showcase our operations and share some of our experiences with fleet electrification and sustainable transportation.
The visit also created an opportunity for valuable conversations about the opportunities and challenges facing the transportation industry as fleets transition toward cleaner technologies.

We were proud to have our Chief Operating Officer, Trevor Plett, participate in Electric Autonomy's webinar:
“Electric MHDV Operations Today and the Road to Expanding Routes”
Trevor joined other industry leaders to discuss the real-world deployment of medium- and heavy-duty battery-electric trucks and what will be needed to expand their use across additional routes.
The discussion explored important considerations such as range, payload, charging infrastructure and the economics of fleet electrification.
For R.R. Plett Trucking, participating in conversations like these is important. We believe that sharing real operating experiences both the successes and the challenges can help move the entire transportation industry forward.
🚛 National Trucking Week: Welcoming LogisticsBC
During National Trucking Week, we had the pleasure of welcoming members of the LogisticsBC Board of Directors to R.R. Plett Trucking.
We enjoyed touring the group through our facility, sharing more about our operations and having an excellent discussion about transportation, logistics and the future of British Columbia's supply chain.
National Trucking Week is also an important opportunity to recognize the incredible people who keep our industry moving every day.

R.R. Plett Trucking was also proud to participate in the BCPMA Golf Event as a Gold Sponsor.
The fresh produce industry is an important part of our business, and we are fortunate to work closely with many produce companies throughout British Columbia and across Canada. The golf event provided another great opportunity to spend time with our valued customers, reconnect with industry colleagues and make some new friends along the way.

We look forward to participating in the Joint Mixer Networking Event during Supply Chain Week, bringing together professionals from five leading associations across supply chain, logistics, transportation, procurement, quality and operations.

SEPTEMBER 14–18 | Celebrating Supply Chain Week BC
R.R. Plett Trucking is proud to join our industry in celebrating Supply Chain Week BC 2026. The Government of British Columbia has officially proclaimed September 14–18, 2026, as Supply Chain Week BC, recognizing the essential contributions supply chain professionals make to businesses, communities, trade and the provincial economy. We are proud to be part of the transportation network that keeps goods moving every day.
SEPTEMBER 16 | Watson Gloves Site Tour
As part of Supply Chain Week BC, our team will participate in an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Watson Gloves in Vancouver.
The tour provides an opportunity to learn more about how another leading Canadian organization manages sourcing, inventory, warehousing, quality, distribution and day-to-day supply chain operations. We believe some of the best ideas come from learning from one another, and we look forward to the experience.
⛳ BCTA Annual Golf Tournament
R.R. Plett Trucking will also be participating in the BC Trucking Association Annual Golf Tournament. The event is always an excellent opportunity to reconnect with transportation colleagues, customers and industry partners outside of our day-to-day operations. We look forward to another great day supporting BCTA and British Columbia's trucking community.
SEPTEMBER 18 | VRCA / YCL Golf Tournament
On Friday, September 18, R.R. Plett Trucking will participate in the VRCA | Young Construction Leaders Golf Tournament.
The construction industry relies heavily on dependable transportation and supply chains, making relationships between our industries increasingly important.
We look forward to meeting fellow professionals, strengthening existing relationships and making new connections.
SEPTEMBER 24 | VRCA BUILDFest 2026
Our team will continue the month's activities at VRCA BUILDFest 2026 on Thursday, September 24. BUILDFest brings together professionals from across British Columbia's construction community and provides another opportunity for us to better understand the needs of the businesses and industries we serve.
We look forward to connecting with customers, partners and new contacts throughout the event.
ENDING SEPTEMBER WITH THE LANGLEY BUSINESS COMMUNITY
We will finish a busy September by attending the Langley Chamber of Commerce September Dinner Meeting and 2026 Annual General Meeting.
Langley has been an important part of R.R. Plett Trucking's story, and we are proud to remain engaged with our local business community.
We look forward to connecting with fellow Langley businesses and ending a very busy month among friends, partners and community leaders.
