⚡🚛 Exciting News for R.R. Plett Trucking The Future Is Here!

We are extremely proud to see R.R. Plett Trucking featured by Electric Autonomy in an exclusive article highlighting the next chapter of our fleet electrification journey.

Our plans include breaking ground on Canada’s first two Tesla Megawatt Charging System (MCS) sites in Langley and Kamloops, B.C., as we prepare for 12 Tesla Semi trucks expected to join our fleet next year.

Building on our existing fleet of eight Volvo Class 8 electric trucks, this investment represents another major step toward expanding zero-emission heavy-duty transportation and developing the charging infrastructure needed to make electric trucking work at scale.

As our COO, Trevor Plett, shared, faster MCS charging could reduce charging time from approximately three hours to just 30 minutes, creating the opportunity to double-shift our electric trucks and significantly increase their utilization.

For us, this journey is about much more than trucks. It’s about innovation, infrastructure, sustainability, and investing in the future of Canadian transportation.
